• Costa Coffee at Orchard Square is encouraging local workers within the city centre, to drop their business cards into the coffee shop during the month of April.
To be in with a chance of winning a free lunch delivered to your office for a whole week, simply drop your business card into the competition pot in Costa Coffee, Orchard Square from Friday 7th April 2006.
The winning business card will win the owner, his or her free lunch delivered to their office for a whole working week. Workers from the same office as the winner will receive 10% discount on their lunch throughout that same *working week, when they visit Costa Coffee at Orchard Square.
Entries to be received before 30th April 2006.

World Book Day - 02/03/2006
On Thursday March 2, 2006 Waterstone's held a number of special events and activities to mark World Book Day - a new initiative launched by publishers, booksellers and writers to encourage reluctant readers to get hooked on books! Two local schools were invited to take part in book-orientated activities and listen to stories being read in the shop.
An exciting part of the day was when the Gruffalo made a special visit to the store to say hello to the children. Gruffalo is the character from the award-winning children's book by Julia Donaldson.
Orchard Square Pancake Race - 28/02/2006
Orchard Square celebrated Shrove Tuesday by hosting a traditional pancake race!The shops within the square were in competition to win the 'Pancake Pan' trophy. The challenge to complete an obstacle course around Orchard Square and to keep the pancake in the pan! Double Dutch Pancakes provided the pancakes. Waterstone's were the trophy winners. They managed to keep the pancakes in their pans and complete the course in winning style.
