Are you an avid Sheffield United fan? If yes, then there is a real treat in-store for you at Orchard Square Sheffield.
Come down to Orchard Square’s Waterstone’s where three former Sheffield United footballers will be in store, Friday 8th December 2pm, signing copies of ‘Match of My Life – Sheffield United’ by Nick Johnson.
Keith Edwards, 80s legend who scored 171 goals out of 293 starts, Dane Whitehouse well known 90’s player who debuted in 1988 at the age of 18 and Tony Currie who made 375 appearances for United and holds 17 England caps will all be available to meet their fans and sign copies of the book which includes stories and recollections from 12 Sheffield United Legends about their most memorable games whilst playing for the famous ‘Blades,’ the heroes also recollect their finest hour whilst donning the red and white kit.

Barney Owl Swoops in to Switch on - 19/11/2006 14:00:00
Sunday 19th November Orchard Square, Sheffield will be welcoming two very special guests who will be ‘swooping’ in to switch on the Orchard Square Christmas lights at 2pm.
Barney Owl the Sheffield Wednesday Football Club mascot and Sally Piper, Miss Sheffield Wednesday, will count down to the light switch on which will take place at 2pm, children and big kids too, will get the chance to meet Barney Owl beak to face so make sure you bring the cameras and get your pictures taken with your favourite football mascot.

A couple who have been together for nearly 20 years, faced a brief separation period this year whilst Fred had a bit of an overhaul. However Fred and Elsie have now been reunited and are enjoying being back together in Orchard Square’s feature clock in Sheffield.
