As part of the Business in the Communities Volunteer Programme ‘Cares at Christmas Campaign’– Horizon Recruitment will be collecting parcels for those less fortunate than others this Christmas time at Orchard Square Shopping Centre Sheffield.

The nominated charity at Horizon is the Cathedral Archer Project which offers food and a base for homeless people in Sheffield, they will therefore receive all of the gifts dropped in at their office at Orchard Square. Each gift should cost no more than £5 and can be anything from toys, toiletries, new clothes or ambient groceries – why not keep an eye out for 3 for 2, BOGOF and free gift with purchases over a certain amount when Christmas shopping, the extra item can be the present that you donate!

Often a Cares at Christmas present can be the only gift someone receives all year, so be as generous as possible please.

“We are not asking for much, just for people to keep their eyes peeled when out shopping for presents this year, take advantage of offers and donate the odd gift! We will then pack them all up and deliver them to the Cathedral Archer Project – which will hopefully make Christmas a little more bearable for those in need,” said Wendy Wragg, Branch Manager at Horizon Recruitment.
